Scan-Trans has always prided itself as a highly skilled technical organization, with a worldwide team of highly skilled supercargoes/port captains and cargo planners. All team members have previously been serving as masters and chief mates on project and heavy lift vessels. A supercargo will be dispatched to almost all loading and discharging operations on Scan-Trans vessels, in order to make sure that the customer's cargoes are handled with utmost care and diligence, and in order to coordinate the operations on the spot, to save time and expenses. The team is using first class software solutions for planning stowage and making lashing calculations.
