CHOOSING SEARCH TERMS
Choosing the right search terms is the key to finding the information you need. Start with the obvious – if you're looking for topics & briefs on any of the Specialties, then type words like Break Bulk or Military Equipment or Ship Brokers...
But it's often advisable to use multiple search terms (up to 3 keywords at a time & just leave a single space between keywords); if you're planning to search for "professional team of chartering", you'll do better with keywords entered like: professional team chartering or professional chartering or chartering or professional. Though you search for 2 completely unrelated set of keywords, you will get your results. But for better results, we would suggest you to enter related set of keywords. But choose your search terms carefully; Scan-trans search looks for the search terms you chose.
Search usually returns pages that use all of the words you search for. However, if some of the words in your search don't appear on the best pages we find, we'll also consider pages that don't include them.
We recommend not to use very common words & special characters , such as "when", "which", "where", "they", "in", "was", "if", "it", "i", "you", "he", "she", "them", "the," "and," "or" "of" "~!@#$%^&*()_+{}:>/;'`" in searches because they typically don't convey much information compared to the other words in a search. Generally, excluding common words allows us to return better search results.
